One fifth of all the country’s electricity usage comes from Data Centres

Figures released today show that data centres used more than a fifth of all the electricity consumed in the country last year. Kieran was joined by Darragh Cassidy, Head of Communications with Bonkers.ie and by Jerry Mac Evily, Head of Policy at Friends of The Earth for reaction to these figures.
