Dr. Mark McDonald is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child and adolescent mental health. Based in Los Angeles, he is the author of United States of Fear and Freedom From Fear, host of the Dissident MD Substack, and co-host of the Informed Dissent podcast. Dr. McDonald is known for his fearless commentary on the psychological fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, the collapse of courage in medicine, and the cultural consequences of abandoning moral truth.
