VP Harris: Voting Rights "Is The FIght Of Our Lifetime"

Texas weighs on voting bill in a special session weeks after democrats walkout. Vice President Kamala Harris says that voting rights "is the fight of our lifetime" as Texas weighs the election overhaul bill in a special session and an ally for former President Donald Trump pushes an audit in Pennsylvania. Texas and Pennsylvania lawmakers are exploiting Trump's election loss and lies. 

Pfizer is seeking an emergency use authorization for a third covid dose as it is seeing waning immunity from its vaccine. 

64 people have been confirmed dead in the Florida condo collapse and 76 people remain unaccounted for. A report from more than a year before the condo collapse warned that parts of the building (the entrance and the garage) had zero years of "remaining useful life." A report says that the Surfside condo had a fraction of funds needed for repairs. 

President Joe Biden defends his decision to pull the U.S. out of Afghanistan as the Taliban advances. Biden says that  he will not send more Americans to war "in Afghanistan with no reasonable expectation of achieving a different outcome."  Biden also vowed to respond to Putin and now faces key test after the Russian-linked hackers believed to be behind the 5th attack on the U.S.
