However, Ted’s mother discovers a number of suspicious discrepancies to suggest her son did not kill himself and that Wilda may hired someone to murder him and stage the suicide scene. While a coronial inquest takes place and the investigation is eventually reopened, there is not enough evidence to charge anyone with a crime.
