The Active Life Podcast Medication and Bariatric Surgery for Kids?!
Yesterday I made a post promising I would review the American Academy of Pediatrics' recommendation that children take medications and undergo bariatric surgery to fight Obesity. The Wall Street Journal and CNN (and many other outlets) wrote articles discussing the medication and surgical recommendations. In this podcast I break down in very simple terms how truthful they were, and what I believe needs to be done to curb this catastrophic problem facing American society.
