Balance is not something we often think about when we're looking at spiritual disciplines. Think about it as understanding the season you're in. Are you in a season where you're really pursuing righteousness? Well, is it tempered by an acknowledgement of God's grace? Are you working on grace but forgetting about righteousness? Balance is usually what happens when we stay in step with Christ, because he is looking to bring us into relationship with himself and not another form of religion. When we are on His journey, his leadership creates balance in our lives.
