Ep. 300: The 300

The historian who described the Battle of Thermopylae (which the movie '300' is inspired from) said that the Persian army was 2.5 million strong, while the Spartans were only 300 in number. Did you know that these numbers were grossly exaggerated? In actuality, the Persian army had about 70,000 soldiers, and the Spartans had about 4,000 soldiers.
