Tactical money manager Michael Ball, managing director at Weatherstone Capital Management, says that the global pandemic and the stunted economic cycle have changed the data he looks at to make some of his decisions, noting that 'mobility numbers' which show how much people are getting out and moving around give a more real-time pulse on the economy than simple employment numbers or other more-traditional data.
