Episode 14: “Fight Week”

The gang is back, and this time they’re trying to prepare for life without two great young quarterbacks; rookie sensation DeShaun Watson is out for the season with a torn ACL in practice, and Andrew Luck is teetering on the brink of catastrophe as he’s shut down for the season, with his career in the balance. The guys are talking rankings and replacements for the AFC South field generals. Plus, Jameis Winston will sit and heal, which means it is FitzMAGIC time! How will the Buccaneers fare with Travis’ doppleganger in for Famous Jameis? And Eli Manning may be headed for the bench as the Giants’ season slips away; what does the future hold for The Last Manning Standing, and which of his backups is worth a stash in superflex leagues?

Everybody was kung-fu fightin’ in Week 9, as AJ Green and Jaylen Ramsey went at it, Mike Evans attacked Marshon Lattimore, and Carlos Hyde took on the entire Cardinals defense. What does the NFL’s disciplinary action mean for the players involved? And how do those battles stack up against the slugfest between Andre Johnson and Courtland Finnegan?

The guys are also talking trades, as contenders try to rally from the loss of Watson and Aaron Rodgers and reload for the playoff run, and everyone else is getting their quarterback of the future at a discount. Would the guys mortgage the future for a championship run? And would they advocate for trading the almighty OBJ in dynasty leagues?
