I started thinking about what to write about and share with you because I knew it was going to be a holiday weekend. Most would be enjoying time with family and friends. So the episode needed to be concise and to the point.
Who's better to share relationship advice than the Pointer Sisters?
Well it's a great start. You see, most marriages begin to fade after having children. Priorities are shifted to the children, and the relationship of the parents are left to the wayside. It's extremely unfair and can rock the foundation of any marriage.
Spending time together both physically and emotionally is essential. But as you know, it takes intention.
How much time have you been investing in your spouse?
I can tell you personally I've let a few days slip by. Getting ready for a unique high school graduation celebration with no ceremony and only family with a few unexpected surprises has consumed my attention.
One great thing in all of this, I recognize it. So after the preparation is done, I can make intentional effort to spend time with my hubby. Plus, I can flirt a little too in the meantime.
If you do not take the time to jump for your spouse's love, it will fade because it isn't present. One can care deeply for another, however, without that encouraging, sensual touch, deeper conversations, and snuggle time of holding hands and being still together, the day will consume your heart, not your spouse.
Ouch!!! That's not the way to build a strong foundation.
If you're ready to be intentional with your marriage, it's time to jump for love.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Jump for love!Now this "love" is not just sexual intimacy. It can be any way you choose to show your love.

Yet in everything you do, jump for love!
- Let INTENTION rule your day. This is the time where you set your pace to run your race. Don't let the day take over your feelings and hold your heart hostage.
- Daily EXPRESS your love for your spouse. You have so many different ways to let your spouse know that he/she is number one!
- SURPRISE because you can. Your spouse should know that you celebrate him/her.
Together you can ROCK this world with your love. So don't delay your expressions because you're tired, too busy, or paying to much attention to the children. Today, jump for love!
And if you want a little extra fun, turn on the old eighties hit from The Pointer Sisters and hit the dance floor to "Jump for my love!"
