Narcissists: we all know one, have worked for one, shared a house with one or dated one - a person whose presence is powerfully and destructively isolating. Who work hard to appear strong, but mask a fragile self. Who suck the oxygen out of the room and energy out of you. You know it.  Maggie Hamilton is Sydney-based author, social researcher and media commentator.
