Maple Leaf Foods announced plans to shutter plants in St. Mary's, Toronto and Brampton. This move, will pave the way for the country's largest poultry-processing plant to be built in London throughout the next 4 years. With both federal and provincial goverments chipping in upwards of $60 million towards the project, are we as taxpayers funding un-neccessary layoffs?
