Save/invest 20% of your income
Don't get into debt
Hire professionals/don't take advice from broke people
Diversify your portfolio
Hedge your bets and losses
Invest in yourself
Calculate the true cost of purchases
Wait on impulse purchases
Don't delegate the responsibility of your finances
