The progress towards autonomous vehicles, more intelligent driving assistance, and even things like automated parking and crash avoidance are all evidence of AI impacting the automotive industry in deep ways. In addition, there’s a wide range of non-AI technologies that are also providing competitive advantage to automotive companies.
