In this episode, I speak with Michael Kayser and how his son Owen has dealt with epileptic seizures. Without warning, Owen started having seizures at three years old and the family had to adapt. They dove into the research behind the ketogenic diet and how it could be implemented to help Owen. After adopting a Keto lifestyle, Owen's seizures dropped from 100 per day to zero! Michael dives into the parenting strategies they've used while raising a son with epilepsy. He also illustrates what a day of eating a therapeutic Keto, 4:1 ratio looks like.
