He starred at Syracuse University, ranking among the program’s all-time leaders in receiving yards, blocking an incredible six punts, an achievement few players accomplish even once and earning recognition not just on the field, but in the classroom as a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. Drafted in the sixth round by the New York Giants, he went on to become a Pro Bowler, First-Team All-Pro, Giants Rookie of the Year, Super Bowl Champio and the man behind what the world knows as The Helmet Catch.
