Angelo Auricchio was appointed Chief Medical Officer, Rhythm Management, Boston Scientific in September 2024, where he works across the EMEA region. Prior to his time in industry, he gained a wealth of experience in academia and medicine, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the European Society of Cardiology's journal EP Europace and President of the European Heart Rhythm Association.

During his time in the medical field, he also served as Deputy Head of the Cardiology Department and Director of the Clinical Electrophysiology Unit at the Istituto Cardiocentro Ticino in Switzerland.
