Is tiny house living as simple as buying a DIY flat pack?

Tiny homes are booming — manufacturers are springing up across the country, and you can even pick up a basic DIY kit from your local hardware store. 

And with the federal government 250,000 homes short of its target to build 1.2 million new homes by 2029, some in the sector argue tiny homes could be part of the solution. 

But what is it like to actually live in a tiny home for the long haul, and could they really help to address Australia's housing crisis?
