Ansar’s critique is lucid and devastating, and he argues that geo-engineering technological fixes will not get us out of this mess, but will further entrench us in a deeply eco-destructive mode of life. He finds hope in the social movements demanding fundamental change and that means not just a Green New Deal, but conceiving the possibility of the end of capitalism. </font>
