LSU may be getting a key piece back soon. Jay Johnson provided an encouraging update on senior outfielder Chris Stanfield, who has been out since injuring his hand in the second game of the season but is now “full go” swinging the bat and nearing a return. Could Stanfield be the spark LSU’s offense needs after dropping four of its last five games?
