Daily Puck Drop: Another blow for Seahawks defense. Guests: John Canzano on college football and Danny Kelly, The Ringer on Seahawks, fantasy football and NFL

On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett gets off on a late start because he’s a putz and forgot to hit the “LIVE” button. Once started, he chatted about the injury news on Uchenna Nwosu, which was first reported by Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, a weekly guest of Puck’s, every Thursday at 10:20.  Garafolo texted Puck while on the air and said that Nwosu will be out longer than four weeks, but he doesn’t believe it’s season ending. 

Puck goes over the Seahawks defense and how bad it’s been this season and the game that highlights that is their win against the Patriots. They have real, real issues and not sure Mike Macdonald can fix all of them. 

Danny Kelly of the The Ringer joins for his weekly show.  Danny has changed days that he’ll appear on the show. Danny will now join every Tuesday at 10:20am throughout the football season. 

They start off talking about the loss of Nwosu, the continued problems on defense, not giving up on Macdonald, why Ken Walker use hasn’t been more, Robert Saleh out in New York and we talk fantasy Football with “Danny’s Waiver Wire Pick-Up” 

John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com, discusses all things college football.  They start off with thoughts on the upcoming Oregon and Ohio State game on Saturday.  John likes Oregon to win, but Dillon Gabriel must play better. 

How much did we learn from Washington’s victory over Michigan.  Is this the win that sparks Jedd Fisch and UW or is Michigan just a bad football team?  

How will Jake Dickert and the Cougs avoid a mid-season slide what will their record be when they face the Oregon State Beavers on Nov. 23? 

Why isn’t eir a college football commissioner or czar?  College athletes will be getting paid as the courts have passed that current and former athletes are entitled to roughly $2.7 billion dollars.  How will that affect the college landscape?

Johnathan Smith sure knows a lot about point spreads.  Puck and John have a good laugh with Smith covering the spread last week against Oregon.  Puck wonders how many coaches are aware of the point spreads and could that raise a red flag?

Puck wraps up the show with, “Hey, What the Puck!?  Alabama fan rants on Kalen Deboer and they already want him out!

00:00 Daily Puck Drop gets delayed because Puck is an idiot and didn’t hit the “LIVE” button!  Once he got started, opened up with the breaking news that Uchenna Nwosu is out for the next four weeks and placed on the IR.  Mike Garafolo, Puck’s weekly guest on Thursday’s texted Puck and said it will be longer than the four weeks, but he doesn’t think season ending.  Seahawks have major problems on the defensive side of the football and not sure Mike Macdonald can fix them this year. More of a talent issue.
