Michigan football after Texas: Something is rotten in the state of Denmark

During just about any preview of Michigan football vs. Texas, our show included, we all stated that the Wolverine defense would be elite, it was more of a question about the offense. But what happens when the defense fails spectacularly? Or when the coaches put the players in bad situations or fail to adjust? Also, is this just a one-off or is this a sign of what is to come in 2024? Is Michigan merely losing an early season game to a particularly elite team or will it become post-2019 LSU?
