The queen of healthy allergy-free recipes joins The Exam Room with delicious and safe recipes that anyone can enjoy.

Kayla Cappiello specializes in recipes that are gluten free and can easily be transformed into dairy-free, nut-free, low-fat vegan masterpieces.

Her passion in the kitchen stems from her own experiences with food allergies. The journey began with acute episodes that landed her in the emergency room after eating nuts as a child.

As an adult, she often felt sick and tired and had brain fog. Doctors were baffled by her symptoms before discovering that she has celiac disease and was lactose intolerant in addition to having the nut allergy. Even something as simple as a sandwich would knock her for a loop.

Kayla didn't want to stop eating all of her favorite foods, so she began to develop allergy-free recipes for the dishes she loved.

She joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll to talk about balancing making healthy decisions without sacrificing flavor and how her delicious journey has her feeling better than ever.
