Despite the fallout from Diego Maradona’s drug ban casting a shadow over their tournament, this enviable Argentina team and cohort of Romanian superstars were probably the tournament’s two best sides. We revel in the chaotic game that unfolded between them, featuring cracking goals from Eastern European football royalty and technical quality that belied the sweltering heat in Pasadena.
