Johnathan has also been a competitive cyclist. (3:30) VO2 max is explained. (14:00). It's how your body uses oxygen to burn carbs and fats to create mechanical energy. How do you get a strong VO2 Max? (23:00) Your VO2 Max number helps determine longevity. (24:00) Motorcross is a huge challenge for your body as well as rowing. (27:00) Vinnie has helped a lot of people who have been morbidly obese, and once they lose weight they want to get moving. (33:00) What is VO2 max, what do the numbers mean, and how can it be increased? They give practical examples of how this can be accomplished. The goal of training this way is not to be an elite athlete but to increase VO2 Max, decrease injury, have fun, and work out efficiently. (42:55) The "RABIT" test takes speed, heart rate, and time and calculate it, which can give you an estimated VO2 max. Addressing Chronic Pain Disc dehydration (or desiccation) can be an issue.
