Specialist doctors were building a healthcare system in Gaza. Then came war. With each specialist killed, another blow is dealt to an already decimated medical care system in the enclave. Reuters has spoken to doctors, nurses, health experts and officials to find out the fate of their healthcare mission in the months since October 7th.
