EU free trade deal comes at "opportune time", says President of the European Economic and Social Committee

Australian red meat exporters are feeling short changed in the newly inked free trade agreement between Australia and the European Union.

The additional 30,600 tonnes of beef that will be allowed to enter the EU falls short of the 50,000-tonne quota exporters were calling for.
