Womanica Women of Science Fiction: Leigh Brackett
Leigh Brackett (1915-1978) was an American science fiction writer and screenwriter known for her space opera stories. She wrote the first draft of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, but died before the movie was finished.

These diverse women from across space and time are grouped into easily accessible and engaging monthly themes like Educators, Villains, Indigenous Storytellers, Activists, and many more. Womanica is hosted by WMN co-founder and award-winning journalist Jenny Kaplan. The bite-sized episodes pack painstakingly researched content into fun, entertaining, and addictive daily adventures.
