Today’s guest is an award-winning artist, author, speaker, and entrepreneur.
He is internationally known for his best-selling collection of fine art posters The DJ being one of the most popular prints of ALL TIME. To date selling 13 million worldwide.
He has designed and illustrated myriad projects, from skateboards and CD covers to advertising campaigns. In 2012, he accepted an NAACP Image Award and a Telly Award for his art direction in Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s documentary film On the Shoulders of Giants.
As a longtime vegetarian and health-advocate, he created The BUA Bar, a raw, organic chocolate bar as well as his chocolate drink mix the Immortal Machine.
He exhibits throughout the United States and internationally. He has taught figure drawing at the University of Southern California for ten years, was the host and executive producer of the first ever TV show about street art.
He was also a member of the United States stamp committee where he was part of bringing the world the first-ever Hip Hop and Bruce Lee stamp, among many others to the world.
