Most people start intermittent fasting for all the wonderful health benefits that come along with it, specifically insulin sensitivity and possibly shedding weight, and reducing inflammation. But that was not my sole reason to restart IF. The sole reason was to stop my little addiction, leverage the power of my mind, and call in Spirit to assist with this.
