Following personal achievements of climbing Mount Everest at 24 years-old and conquering the South Pole, James ripped up gym contracts to pioneer pay-as-you-go memberships in London.

His legacy in fitness has been cemented since childhood when his father founded Fitness First. James then went on to team up with his father to co-found successful brand Jatomi Fitness before joining with business partner Giles Dean to set-up 1Rebel – the gyms for people who hate gyms.
