THINNING OF THE VEIL "ENDOWED WITH POWER": Peter B. Rawlins, BYU Journal 2012
What exactly does it mean to be endowed with power? Certainly there are a lot of ways to answer that question. In this article written by Peter B. Rawlins for the BYU Journal in 2012, he approaches it through a missionary lens. He details what each ordinance means in our gaining of priesthood power and the work of the Gathering of Israel on both sides of the veil. It is valuable to study a lot of different perspectives when trying to understand the nature of power, that is gained in the temple. Every ordinance delivers a different kind of spiritual gift that enables us to be effective disciples and laborers in the vineyard no matter what side of the veil you currently reside on.
