The Chicago Cubs kicked off a home series vs the San Diego Padres on Monday Night. Justin Steele got the ball for the Cubbies, making his first start since injuring his hamstring on Opening Day. Steele went 4.2 IP, striking out 2 and allowing no earned runs. The game was knotted up at 0 until the Padres broke through with a 6-run 6th inning off the Cubs' bullpen.
