In 1992, he started the wildly popular “$25 and Under” food column, and in 2004, he became the Times Wine Critic. His columns include "Wines of the Times", "The Pour" and "Wine School". Eric has also published two books, "How to Love Wine: A Memoir and Manifesto" and "Wine With Food: Pairing Notes and Recipes from The New York Times".
