Sri Daya Mata (1914 – 2010), beloved third president of Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, shares insightful wisdom from her personal experience as one of Paramahansa Yogananda’s closest disciples. The joyous and uplifting spirit of hope and encouragement that Daya Mata conveys in this talk allows all to feel the divine love and God-realization with which she was able to touch the hearts of everyone she met.

This talk was recorded on July 19, 1996, at the annual SRF World Convocation in Los Angeles.
During her talk Sri Daya Mata often refers to Paramahansa Yogananda, guru and founder of SRF/YSS, simply as “Guruji” — “ji” being a suffix denoting respect, added to names and titles in India — or “Master,” one who has achieved self-mastery.
