Unshaken Saints Genesis 12-17; Abraham 1-2: ”Abraham & Sarah”
Abraham's Selfless Covenant Vision
- Abraham seeks happiness, peace, and rest by pursuing the blessings and priesthood of the fathers.
- His motive is outward: to bless posterity and administer priesthood to others, not self-exaltation.
The Three Ps Of The Covenant
- The Abrahamic covenant bundles three core promises: promised land, priesthood, and posterity.
- Posterity is logically primary because the other promises depend on a continuing seed to pass them on.
Exclusivity To Enable Inclusivity
- God chooses Abraham exclusively because Abraham chose God first; that exclusivity exists to enable radical inclusivity.
- The chosen become choosers tasked with bringing all families into blessing.
