Episode 25a: “WRs, Part I”

“The Beard” is back, “The Brain” is shut down for the week, and the “Position Dissection” rolls on as the guys tackle the wide receiver position. Travis and John are talking about the Top 7 wide receivers in 2017 fantasy, with some familiar, trustworthy faces… and a couple stowaways. Antonio Brown has been rock solid for years, but at 30-years old and with a 36-year old quarterback, how much longer can we count on AB? And how does he stack up against DeAndre Hopkins after another breakout season by the 25-year old phenom? The tale of the tape is all about consistency versus upside as the gang puts two of the top dynasty assets under the microscope together. Plus, Larry Fitzgerald fights Father Time, Keenan Allen fights an undeserved reputation, Jarvis Landry tries to fight off a stigma that won’t go away, Julio Jones fights to stay relevant, and Michael Thomas fights for an elusive spotlight, where he officially belongs.

But the WR battles can’t begin until Travis gets some thoughts off his chest, after missing an entire week and the end of the running back discussion. “The Beard” takes issue with thoughts on Derrick Henry, Jordan Howard and Ezekiel Elliott; can he bring John into the light and show him the flaws in his thinking?
