As the first generation to become parents in this advanced digital age, we're especially hard-hit by the mom-guilt, constant comparisons, and access to an overwhelming (and unvetted) amount of information. Many of us were raised with punishments, sticker charts, and external rewards systems - so it's no wonder we now find ourselves looking outward for validation.
