Hey Lifers!

Today we are having a big chat about our relationship with alcohol, and we might have a problem with alcohol despite not being an alcoholic!

Firstly, Laura and Producer Keeshia unpack a bit to do with hens & bucks parties and whether there are different rules for your relationship on the 'last night of freedom.'

Helena Sauzier, who you might know from Bach joins us to talk about why she went sober. Helena wasn't an 'alcoholic.' She wasn't a 'problem drinker' but she had a problem with herself when she drank. 

Next up we are joined by Danni Carr.

Danni is a musician and her life was pretty engulfed by drinking culture.

4 years ago, she decided to go sober. She realised that she had been using alcohol to feel more confident in social situations when it actually led to her being embarrassed and mortified about her own behaviour. 

We talk about:

-Why do we have a problem with it when our friends say they're not drinking? Why do we call them boring?

-How drinking can affect our relationships in such a negative way

-How our lives can improve by moderating or eliminating alcohol from our social interactions

-'Mummy wine culture'

-How you don't have to be an alcoholic for alcohol to be a problem in your life
