Did you know the name catastrophe comes from the Greek word catastraphin? What is interesting about its origin is that the word does not mean that there will be a bad thing that will happen, it just means a sudden change. In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin tells us about how the Greeks play negative endings. We expect something bad is going to happen just because everything is going well. Are we programmed to believe that all things will take a turn for the worse if things are running? We need to realize that we don't live in a movie or a Greek tragedy play. So, our simple habit starts with catastrophizing and asking our self is there any truth to what this positive twist might come out of the situation instead. This and a lot more.
