Emily Oster joins us again today in our first episode of our new format to discuss her new book “The Unexpected: Navigating Pregnancy During and After Complications” co-authored by Nathan Fox. Emily’s data driven approach brings comfort to parents everywhere and this book is no different. After years of receiving questions from readers about approaching a second pregnancy when the first one didn’t go as planned, Emily decided to create this book to help inform and educate parents about the reality that about 50% of pregnancies include complications. Whether its miscarriage, hyperemesis gravid arum. preterm birth or postpartum education, Emily provides us all with the necessary information to make next pregnancies as smooth as possible.
