8: How Do You Know It’s Time to Leave Your Job?

One of the most frequent questions you’ll ask yourself is, “When is it time for me to leave my job?” This question is a natural progression in your career development. Don’t be scared of it. Embrace this question and lean into what your inner voice is telling you about leaving. 

You’ll leave for various reasons such as wanting more responsibility, an opportunity to lead, more pay, leaving a bad boss, greater work-life balance, or a chance to better align your professional life with your values and goals. All of these are practical examples, and I’m sure there are a few others, but you will question whether or not now is the right time to leave. 

In this episode, I’ll share how you can acknowledge all of the mind drama and your inner critic to help you make the best decision. I’ll help you take a look at your career progression and see where a move potential aligns along your career path. And, I’ll share my experiences about how I’ve always trusted my gut and knew when it was time to leave.
