Alice Hamilton (1869-1970) was a pioneer in the fields of industrial toxicology and occupational health. Her work helped pave the way for significant improvements in workplace safety and for landmark legislation like the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

These diverse women from across space and time are grouped into easily accessible and engaging monthly themes like Educators, Villains, Indigenous Storytellers, Activists, and many more. Womanica is hosted by WMN co-founder and award-winning journalist Jenny Kaplan. The bite-sized episodes pack painstakingly researched content into fun, entertaining, and addictive daily adventures.
