I am angry with him because he told me to not talk back. 2. I want him to be gentle and kind with me. I want him to respect me as an adult. 3. He should not patronize his wife, shouldn't be so reactive, and shouldn't be dismissive of how I feel. 4. I need him to show me that he sees me as an equal. I need him to show me that I can trust him to be an emotionally safe space for me. 5. He is mean, arrogant, and controlling. 6. I don't ever want to feel disrespected or controlled.
