Yellow Fin is a business intelligence platform that helps connect businesses with their data. Since launching in 2003, Yellow Fin has gone on to dominate the market counting large companies such as Coca-Cola, Honda, Xerox and Vodaphone as it’s clients. Yellow Fin now has customers in over 70 countries and a distributed network of company executives based in offices in the US, UK, Japan and Australia.
In this interview we talk about starting a tech business as a non-tech founder, the transition from a corporate career to starting a startup, the value of bootstrapping, why you should be being willing to lose a customer and the need for focus.
