The Lazy CEO Podcast with Jane Lu #8 Finder: How Fred Schebasta Built a $650m Business after 39 Business Failures
Today I chat to Fred Schebesta, who started Finder, one of Australia's largest comparison sites. Finder was started after 39 previous business attempts and failures. It was first built in the living room of Fred and his business partner Frank in their share house in 2006, and it's worth over half a billion dollars! I've known Fred for a long time and he is literally one of the smartest people I know and it was seriously such a fun chat, we did go on some tangents, but I felt I learnt a lot! As with all episodes, we talk about the startup journey and business challenges, but we also tapped into Fred's new business chapter into crypto. Now I know what most of you are thinking, I normally hear crypto and I'm a bit scared and/or bored, but honestly, Fred's been the first person to explain it in a way that I actually get and I found it super interesting.
