James addresses how divided perspective distorts community. Favoritism emerges when believers allow the world’s value system to pollute God’s view of people. The single-minded life sees others through the mercy of God alone — not through wealth, appearance, or influence. A single-minded church becomes a place where dignity flows from grace, not status.
