Is It Valuable to Target Garbage Time?
We looked at every quarter back over the last five years, and we set a line o of 12 points for the final score. When a team's win probability goes under 20 %, they throw 70% of their plays. It sounds great, but they don't actually get any more efficient per play,. Passing is far more efficient than running the ball. Don't assume that garbage time will save you inefficient offence. Offences stay inefficient. There are five games this week with ten point spreads - huston, denver, seattle, san francisco, chicago, green bay, tennessee, buffalo and atlanta against the ramps.
