Pegasus Spyware - How to Analyze the Phones of the Victims Remotely
In the book you have really fascinating descriptions of how you had to conduct remote forensics on some of the phones. Yeah, exactly. So one of the important things we had to do before publishing that story was to prove that indeed the victims we were mentioning had been infected with Pegasus spyware. The only way to do that is to have access to all the data that you have on the phones so you can analyze them and find traces of Pegasus activity. And this is how we discovered that journalists in India or in Azerbaijan, like at Hijj's Malova, we spoke about had been in contact with Pegasus.
