The Witchcraft Fenzy Continues

In 1692, the newly appointed governor of Colony of Massachusetts Bay William Phipps established special courts to hear and decide the witchcraft cases. The accused were not provided attorneys and so they were forced to defend themselves. "It just seemed like at this point, they're just pointing their fingers at people they don't like and they're a witch, let's kill them," she says.
